Will Wheaton – Fiddle/Mandolin

Born and raised in Chesapeake, VA, Will found in music both profound challenges and limitless possibilities. While a classical violinist from a young age, the years have afforded him experience in nearly all genres and multiple instruments. As an avid singer, he has done everything from starring in musicals to singing at all-state choir events, and took that passion to UVA where he performed with the Virginia Glee Club at locations such as Carnegie Hall and Buenos Aires. Although he had experience fiddling with a high school band, learning mandolin in college is what led him to become an avid fan of American folk. In his spare time, he enjoys backpacking and holding his life together by its threads.
